Double the Shows, Double the Fun!


Custom Munnys, artwork from the McSpecies Guys, beautiful summer weather, and a great crowd added up to an awesome Last Thursday here at Screaming Sky Gallery!

Starting June 25th, we had two magical shows go up on our wall including the beautifully hand crafted vinyl toys of Josh (f+) Pierce for the show “Kingdom: Vinylae. “ We were lucky enough to see the unveiling of his entry for the Kidrobot Munny Munth contest, and guests were able to have a meet and greet with the artist himself!  And thanks to Jake Tong, another Portland artist who shared two of his custom Munnies with us!

For our other show “Engorged National Pride,” our friends from McSpecies sent us some very cool artwork featuring the works of Arbito, Shawn Wolfe, Casey Brennan, Justin Dawes, John Black, M. Ian Ross, and Uriah Roth, who was also here to meet guests.  Our gallery is now bursting with paintings, mosaics, sculptures, and signs- red, white, and blue style! Thanks McSpecies Guys!

Besides the opening of not one, but TWO shows in one night, the warm and sunny weather, the fun jams cranked out by DJ Tommy Tanks, and the spirited crowd of Last Thursday attendees, it was a great night for Screaming Sky Gallery.   Thanks to everyone who helped out…These fun shows will be up through July 25th, so come on in, or take a peek at the pieces via our online store!
